Ape Attack (yeti)

He was right there in the pictures. I could SEE him. No one else acknowledged him. It was the only image I could see or bring myself to work at. For weeks I toiled over all the effects on the keyboard trying to push his image on the screen to the one I saw during my naps near the monitor. To no avail. I could see the Himalayan peaks begin to reveal themselves as I pushed adjustments past all sensible restrictions, yet he resisted. Sleep became more and more difficult as I sought him. HE WAS RIGHT THERE! Why couldn’t I get that correction just right? As exhaustion pushed me toward the oblivion of REM-less tossing and turning, I slammed my fingers on the keys: command-option-F.  The simian form cast itself up from the snowy slope screeching through the screen and into my living room…
