Sulfurs rollick in the blue vervain

Vervain is a very tiny little flower on a tall, lanky stem covering ditch banks along farmland this time of season. It’s very common and too small to catch our eyes. Not so for sulfur butterflies. They LOVE the stuff. Here are a couple of sulfurs romping around the ditch.
