We had a quieter than usual summer of Golden Swamp Warblers (Prothonotary) this year. But things have picked up here at the end of the breeding season. The bird with the strange posture had a tiny bug and cobweb on its throat, and he was trying to get it off. You can see the bug by clicking on the largest photos below and several others. It’s tough on your neck when most of your food comes from the underside of leaves. Week 31 was July 30-August 5.
