The weather was cold and miserable (like me) January 22 when the phosphate unit train came to Aurora NC led by 3 BNSF locomotives. I just couldn’t make it out. BUT, the next day, two of them came out on P90 to become P97. The GE C44-9Ws are wearing different liveries. 1048 got the Heritage-1 paint scheme when she was built in 1996. When 4742 was built two years later and painted in the Heritage-2 style.
