Wanna see plenty of birds? Pungo Lake is the place this time of year. These photos are from a short visit January 20. Most common in these photos is the tundra swan. The hawk is a peregrine falcon. The other ducks are American wigeon. Make it after a dry spell, the roads can be messy.
